I’ve always found beauty in the things time leaves behind.
The marks on the wood, the imperfections, the darkness — none of them take away from what it is. They are what make it impossible to repeat.
I placed the butterfly there because, to me, we are not so different.
Life leaves marks on us too. We change, we carry them, and somehow they become part of our beauty.
Not everything beautiful has to remain untouched.
