ALMOST THERE

I wanted this piece to be about that moment when you’ve already come too far to turn back, but you still can’t see the end.

The butterfly is almost impossibly high, alone at the top. Below it is everything it had to cross to get there.

I think some dreams are like that. The closer you get, the harder the climb feels. You start wondering if it was worth it, if you have enough left, if you should keep going.

But sometimes the moment you feel you can’t go any further is the moment you realize how far you’ve already flown.
