ONE MORE DAY

I’ve always thought the beauty of a rose comes from knowing it won’t last forever.

You receive it knowing that one day its color will fade, its petals will fall, and eventually only the memory of it will remain.

With this piece, I wanted to change that ending.

I wanted to give this rose one more day.

And then another.

And another.

Until time simply forgot to take it away.

Maybe eternity is just one beautiful moment that never had to end.
