THE COURAGE TO LEAVE

I’ve always thought that leaving takes a different kind of courage.

Sometimes we stay because something feels familiar.
Because it was once home.
Because a part of us still belongs there.

I wanted to capture the moment just before the butterfly lets go of the branch — when its wings are already open, but it hasn’t completely left.

I think we all live that moment at some point.

We hold on with one part of ourselves while another is already ready to fly.

Sometimes growing begins the moment we finally let go.
